Matthias is a 2x founder with international operating experience across Europe, the Middle East, and the United States, focused on building scalable platforms at the intersection of technology, sport, and human behavior. He founded his first company in Malta, raising $6M at the age of 26 and scaling it into a 100+ employee international business.

Following his first exit, Matthias made a deliberate decision to deepen his expertise before launching his next venture. He spent several years working as an advisor and operator across technology, sports, and entertainment projects across the world, building the strategic and operational foundation required to lead a technology-driven platform company at scale.

In recent years, his focus shifted primarily to the US market, where he studied cultural behaviour, fandom dynamics, and community formation around sport and entertainment. These research-driven insights directly shaped the vision and design philosophy of 7Pi. Matthias believes lasting social change comes not from changing people, but from changing the environment around them—an idea captured in his guiding principle: “Don’t change the people. Change the game.”

Sport plays a central role in this vision. He competed in Division 1 youth soccer before transitioning to Muay Thai, gaining first-hand experience of the discipline, pressure, and identity sport creates. Today, entrepreneurship is his competitive arena—bringing the same mindset of consistency, resilience, and long-term execution.
