Mate is a Hungarian basketball coach and sports leader with broad international experience across Europe, Australia, and the United States. Alongside his work in Hungary, he has spent time in elite basketball environments in Germany and Australia, while steadily building a strong professional presence and network in the U.S. sports ecosystem.

Most recently, Mate served as a guest coach with the Sacramento Kings during the NBA Summer League in both 2024 and 2025. He is currently coaching in the Unrivaled league, working closely with some of the world’s top WNBA players. Beyond basketball, he is actively expanding his professional network across multiple sports, collaborating with coaches, performance specialists, and leaders from other disciplines as well.
